A little practical information about the earflap hat in shearling:<\/h3>\n

Materials:<\/h3>\n

The hat is sewn in shearling.<\/p>\n

Shearling is lambskin with 2 sides.<\/p>\n

A smooth, suede-like side, which here is dyed black, and a soft fur side, which is also black.<\/p>\n

Shearling is a 100% natural material, which allows your skin to breathe freely.<\/p>\n

Size:<\/h3>\n

Our earflap hat in shearling is sewn to a head circumference of 58 cm, but can be adjusted in circumference around the head with the Velcro straps. (See photos)<\/p>\n

That means it fits most head circumferences, and the size depends on how tightly you close the hat with the Velcro straps.<\/p>\n

However, we would not recommend it for a very small head.<\/p>\n

The fit:<\/h3>\n

The hat sits well on the head whether you wear it as an earflap hat or as a shearling hat.<\/p>\n

Tips for the earflap hat in shearling:<\/h3>\n

You can either close the hat under the chin with the Velcro straps, or you can gather the earflaps on top of the hat using the Velcro strap.<\/p>\n

That way you transform the earflap hat into a shearling hat.<\/p>\n

Colour:<\/h3>\n

The shearling hat is sewn in a classic and timeless black colour, which both men and women can use.<\/p>\n

Waterproofing:<\/h3>\n

Shearling is water-repellent but not 100%.<\/p>\n

Therefore it is important that you waterproof the hat when you get it.<\/p>\n

Pay extra attention to joins and seams, so small raindrops don’t find their way in to your hair through them.<\/p>\n

Washing instructions:<\/h3>\n

The hat must not be washed.<\/p>\n

If you get a stain on the outside, you can use a cloth and some lukewarm water to remove the stain.<\/p>\n

If you need to freshen up the hat, hang it outside, preferably in frosty weather.<\/p>\n

Alternatively contact your local dry cleaner. They will definitely give you tips and tricks with pleasure.<\/p>\n
