Prices, currency, VAT and duties
At Sikamut it should be clear what your order costs – also when you shop from another country.
Prices, VAT and any duties depend among other things on which country your order is to be sent to.
Once you have chosen a delivery country and go to checkout, you can see the price of your order, shipping and the currency you are paying in before you complete the purchase.
Prices and currency
Sikamut shows prices in:
- Danish kroner (DKK)
- Swedish kronor (SEK)
- Norwegian kroner (NOK)
- euro (EUR)
Prices in different currencies may vary slightly as a result of exchange rates, rounding and the applicable VAT rules.
The amount and the currency shown at payment is the amount you approve when you complete your order.
If you pay with a card or an account in another currency, your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or charge a currency fee. That is not a fee from Sikamut.
VAT and duties
Which VAT and any duties apply depends on the country the item is sent to.
Denmark
Prices for customers in Denmark are shown including Danish VAT.
No VAT or other mandatory duties are added on top of the item price shown.
Shipping is shown separately.
Sweden
Prices for customers in Sweden are shown in Swedish kronor and including the VAT that applies to the purchase.
As the item is sent from Denmark to Sweden within the EU, you as a private customer normally do not have to pay import VAT, customs duty or a clearance fee when the parcel arrives in Sweden.
Norway
Norway is not a member of the EU, and special rules therefore apply to Norwegian VAT and import.
Once you have chosen Norway as the delivery country, you can see at checkout the price of your order and whether Norwegian VAT is charged in connection with the purchase.
If Norwegian VAT has not been charged at the time of purchase, you may be charged Norwegian VAT, any customs duty and a clearance or administration fee from the carrier when the item is imported into Norway.
That depends among other things on the value of the item and the Norwegian import rules.
Greenland
Items sent from Denmark to Greenland are sold without Danish VAT.
Greenland does not have VAT.
Local import duties or other costs may, however, apply depending on the item and the shipment.
The Faroe Islands
Items sent from Denmark to the Faroe Islands are sold without Danish VAT.
On import to the Faroe Islands, Faroese MVG, any customs duty and fees may be charged under the Faroese rules.
These amounts may be charged in connection with the parcel being imported and handed over in the Faroe Islands.
Other EU countries
Customers from other EU countries are also welcome to shop at Sikamut.
Prices are shown including the VAT that applies to the purchase. With ordinary delivery from Denmark to another EU country, you as a private customer normally do not have to pay further import VAT or customs duty on receipt.
Shipping and total price
Shipping is not included in the item price unless otherwise clearly stated.
The shipping price depends on the delivery country and the delivery method you choose.
Before you complete your purchase, you can see the total price of your order, including the amounts Sikamut charges in connection with the purchase.

Any import VAT, customs duty or fees charged by authorities or the carrier after the purchase are not part of Sikamut’s price, unless it is clearly stated at checkout that they have already been charged.
