It gives an insight into why it is all right to use sealskin.
The Greenlandic hunters’ organisation “Inuit Sila” has kindly given permission for us to show the film.

  1. Sealskin comes from sustainable hunting? It is caught with respect for nature and for future generations.
  2. It is a hunter’s by-catch. Instead of leaving the skin to rot in nature, he brings it home and sells it on for processing at Great Greenland, who tan all sealskins.
  3. Sealskin is a sympathetic choice of material, because it builds on many generations of experience in hunting and craft. On top of that, it stays beautiful for many years.
