The bag is designed by Morten Ussing
Morten Ussing is one of Denmark’s skilled designers, who shows his beautiful collections on the catwalk when fashion week is held in Copenhagen.
His style is simple, functional and timeless, exactly like the clutch or small bag he has created in Greenland sealskin.
It is beautiful and simple, but with enough room for everything every woman wants to bring along on a quick trip out of the house.
A small “credit card pocket” has been made inside the bag, which can be closed with a zip.
The place where you can keep your small secrets, what needs to be looked after extra well or simply be easy and quick to find.
The bag closes with both a zip and a magnetic snap.
It has a good double shoulder strap, made from a good leather strap, so it rests well on your shoulder without falling down.
The shoulder strap is nice and long and you can adjust the length.

- The bottom is made of black skin.
- Front, back and sides are sewn in Greenland sealskin.
- Inside, the bag is lined with fine black canvas.
- The strap is made of black leather. It can be adjusted in length and taken off completely.
Colour:
- Natural sealskin
- Green sealskin
- Blue sealskin
- Black sealskin
No matter which skin/colour you choose, it is still possible to see the skin’s beautiful markings.
Good to know about dyed sealskin:
There are no black, red, green or blue seals in the sea around Greenland.
By nature they are greyish with beautiful dark markings.
But in Greenland we love colours, and so we have found out how to dye sealskin in many beautiful colours.
Black is the most classic and elegant colour, which many people in Europe have fallen for as well.

The bottom is made of black skin of a heavy quality, which gives the bag a solid, good base.

Is made of heavy black leather.
It can be adjusted in length and be from 78 – 145 cm long.
The strap can be removed,
and then the bag transforms from a practical and simple everyday bag into an elegant clutch that you can use with a party dress.

Care of sealskin
Daily use and care:

Let the skin breathe: Sealskin benefits from fresh air. You do not need to pack it away if you do not use your sealskin product every day.

When the skin gets crumpled: If your sealskin product has become a little flat or crumpled, you can make the hairs stand up nicely again by holding it over the steam from a pot of boiling water. (mind your fingers while steaming the skin)

Brush with the hair: You can gently brush the skin with a soft brush. Always remember to brush with the direction of the hair (from root to tip).
Water and stains – When accidents happen:

Wet sealskin: Caught in a rain shower? Don’t worry! Shake off the excess water and let the skin dry naturally at room temperature.

Minor stains: Gently wipe with a firmly wrung-out, soft cloth with lukewarm water. Always wipe with in the direction of the hair growth.
What you should avoid

No direct heat: Do not place sealskin on a radiator, close to a wood-burning stove or under a hairdryer. Direct heat dries out the leather back so it becomes stiff and brittle.

Avoid chemicals and soap: Never use stain remover, chemicals or household soap on the skin.

No airtight plastic: Do not store your sealskin in airtight plastic bags. Instead choose a cloth bag or put it in a dark place, so the skin can breathe.

You can choose either to exchange the bag for another colour/model or to get your money back.
