By nature they are greyish with beautiful dark markings.

When we receive the bag from the sewing workshop it is quite thin and flat, but as soon as you start putting your things in it, it becomes thicker and wider.

Inside, the bag is lined with black canvas.
The back:
The bottom is made of black skin.
The shoulder strap:
The strap is long and can be adjusted in length, short or long, depending on what you wish.
You can make more holes in the strap, so it becomes either shorter or longer, depending on what you wish.
The strap can be removed,
and then the bag transforms from a practical and simple phone bag into an elegant clutch that you can use with a party dress.

Daily use and care:

Let the skin breathe: Sealskin benefits from fresh air. You do not need to pack it away if you do not use your sealskin product every day.

When the skin gets crumpled: If your sealskin product has become a little flat or crumpled, you can make the hairs stand up nicely again by holding it over the steam from a pot of boiling water. (mind your fingers while steaming the skin)

Brush with the hair: You can gently brush the skin with a soft brush. Always remember to brush with the direction of the hair (from root to tip).
Water and stains – When accidents happen:

Wet sealskin: Caught in a rain shower? Don’t worry! Shake off the excess water and let the skin dry naturally at room temperature.

Minor stains: Gently wipe with a firmly wrung-out, soft cloth with lukewarm water. Always wipe with in the direction of the hair growth.
What you should avoid

No direct heat: Do not place sealskin on a radiator, close to a wood-burning stove or under a hairdryer. Direct heat dries out the leather back so it becomes stiff and brittle.

Avoid chemicals and soap: Never use stain remover, chemicals or household soap on the skin.

No airtight plastic: Do not store your sealskin in airtight plastic bags. Instead choose a cloth bag or put it in a dark place, so the skin can breathe.
