A small heart in sealskin with many uses.
The lovely little heart is perfect as a bag charm for big and small bags that need a personal look.
You can also use the heart as a keyring, put a small round key ring on the black satin strap – since the heart is a little big you will easily find your keys.

Materials:
The heart is sewn in Greenlandic sealskin.
It has a black satin strap with the text “great greenland” printed on it.
Inside, the heart is filled with firm filling, so it gets a 3D-like effect.
Colour:
The heart comes in a beautiful glossy sealskin with natural colours from silvery to dark grey – see photos.
Or in dyed red Greenlandic sealskin with a beautiful, glossy sheen where the dark markings can be seen.
Good to know about dyed sealskin:
There are no black, red, green or blue seals in the sea around Greenland.
By nature they are greyish with beautiful dark markings.
But in Greenland we love colours, and that is why we have found out how to dye sealskin in many beautiful colours.
Black is the most classic and elegant colour, which many people in Europe have also fallen for.

Care of sealskin
Daily use and care:

Let the skin breathe: Sealskin benefits from fresh air. You do not need to pack it away if you do not use your sealskin product every day.

When the skin gets crumpled: If your sealskin product has become a little flat or crumpled, you can make the hairs stand up nicely again by holding it over the steam from a pot of boiling water. (mind your fingers while steaming the skin)

Brush with the hair: You can gently brush the skin with a soft brush. Always remember to brush with the direction of the hair (from root to tip).
Water and stains – When accidents happen:

Wet sealskin: Caught in a rain shower? Don’t worry! Shake off the excess water and let the skin dry naturally at room temperature.

Minor stains: Gently wipe with a firmly wrung-out, soft cloth with lukewarm water. Always wipe with in the direction of the hair growth.
What you should avoid

No direct heat: Do not place sealskin on a radiator, close to a wood-burning stove or under a hairdryer. Direct heat dries out the leather back so it becomes stiff and brittle.

Avoid chemicals and soap: Never use stain remover, chemicals or household soap on the skin.

No airtight plastic: Do not store your sealskin in airtight plastic bags. Instead choose a cloth bag or put it in a dark place, so the skin can breathe.
